Canon s95 vs Iphone 4?

I bought a new compact camera recently---The canon s95 yeah:)

previously i was stuck between nikon coolpix p300 and canon s95

and eventually i go for the canon s95 mainly because of the bad impression i had on the "coolpix". i had a coolpix p&s camera before (not an advance compact camera) like p300 and i dont like it...the reason why is because of the slow focusing speed and it will be xtremely slow at low light situation....n also slow processing speed as well...

Well yeah i am a bit skeptical on the coolpix p300

'crappix' in fact...that's what kai said in digitalrev in youtube channel....i lol when i heard the word crappix. XD

nevertheless, i give another chance to the p300--by testing out myself ^^

here's my personal opinion about this camera

i love the hdr settings on the control dial

aperture f1.8 is great

full hd recording....WOW

better close-up macro mode

CMOS lens

what i hate

slow focus speed compare to s95 - enough to turn me off

color is a bit washed out

no raw shooting

fingerprint magnet

What i like about the s95

small and compact-can fit in the pocket easily

nice manual control-easy to use

good low light performance

good image stabilization

few 'creative' modes to choose from

what i dont like

1/1600s max shutter speed is meh....i prefer faster shutter speed

28mm is not that wide

a little expensive

overall i do enjoy having this little beast

As i am a iphone 4 owner myself........i have done a few shots with my s95 n iphone 4:)

HDR mode and macro...just for fun^^
